This is my rotten shed floor. it was build on a cement pad. the builder put down shingles on the cement, then 2x4s flat, then built the shed on that mess. years later, i get to deal with all of this.. However many sheds are used for much more than utility purposes. then you have a much wider choice of shed floor coverings. if you just want to improve the general appearance then a coat of floor varnish or paint will seal the floor and make it much easier to maintain and keep the dust and dirt at bay.. Painting shed floor? i have a new shed with a wooden floor. i am going to be keeping my tractor and other garden type stuff in the shed. the floor is currently just plain wook. what kind of paint should i use to paint the floor with to resist, oil and dirt. i am also concerned that painting it might make it slippery.....
